The Somerset Shadows are a community based, non-profit making, competitive squad which competes at both local and national competitions. We also support local events and promotions.

Since the squad's beginning in November 2006 we have started to build a strong, dynamic and versitile squad. We promote team sportsmanship, self-belief, confidence and physical fitness through competitive cheerleading. In joining us you will be able to take part in a sport that is both a fun and exhilerating experience for boys and girls .

Our coaching staff are highly trained, organised and motivated individuals, who are there to help us reach the highest possible standards while having fun.

As a Community based, Non Profit squad we aim to reduce and keep to a minimum the cost of competing for the squad members. The majority of our funds come from public doations / sponsorship.

The Youth Squad (8yrs to 12 yrs)will train on a Sunday night and the Junior and Senior Squads train on a Wednesday night at Priory Community School Gym, Wansbourough Road , Worle , Nr Weston Super Mare, North Somerset

The Squad is a Member of the British Cheerleading Association and follows the code of ethics for cheerleading, promoting teamspirit and encouragement to ALL.
